The Proud to be Derbyshire Heritage Project will be holding an exhibition at The 3aaa County Ground on Tuesday 22 September, Day One of the LV= County Championship fixture versus Leicestershire.

The Heritage Exhibition, which will take place during the Lunch interval on Tuesday in the Greene King Box on the bottom floor of the 3aaa Pavilion, will showcase a selection of photographs and items collated as part of the project, funded thanks to a Heritage Lottery Fund grant.

The project, which is due to be complete in December 2015, will form a Cricket Derbyshire photographic archive and bring together images spanning over 140 years.

As well as a permanent archive at The 3aaa County Ground, the project will also produce an extensive online resource to be accessible to all.

The online archive, which is still being continually updated by Heritage Project volunteers, was launched earlier this year. CLICK HERE to view our online archive.

The heritage project has recruited help from Members, volunteers, community clubs, schools and other stakeholders across the county.
